At Breede River Lodge Accommodation, we manage a unique estate-style lodge on the banks of the Breede River in Witsand. The lodge is made up of individually owned units, which we proudly manage and offer to guests as a wide variety of accommodation options — from cosy bachelor apartments to spacious family cottages.
Guests enjoy the convenience of a daily reception desk, professional housekeeping services, and access to shared amenities that make a stay here truly memorable. The estate includes a river-view swimming pool, the popular Spasie on Breede Restaurant and Coffee Shop, as well as harbour facilities with moorings, kayak rentals, boat launching, washing, and parking.
Our sheltered pool area offers beautiful views of the Breede River — the perfect place to relax in the sun while taking in all the action on the water. Entrance is free for all Lodge visitors, and pool rules and operating times are displayed at the gate.
Loungers and lounger pillows are available during the season for your comfort.
The restaurant is the local hang-out spot, offering a wide variety of delicious meals — from daily catch-of-the-day dishes to hearty breakfasts, great coffee, Belgian waffles, pizzas, and more. With a full bar and service from breakfast through to supper, it’s the perfect place to relax, dine, and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
