Known as the "Jewel of the Great Karoo", Prince Albert lies in a valley surrounded by the majestic Swartberg Mountains which create a barrier between the semi-arid conditons of the Karoo, and the lush greenery of the Garden Route. Life slows down - a time for reflection and rejuvenation. Bring your book, your paintbrushes and drawing pad, and spend time exploring the quaint town or take a stroll along dirt road with your dog.

We are in a central; position in the delightful village of Prince Albert, within walking distance to all the local restaurants and places of interest. Our historical Victorian/Karoo guesthouse (circa 1865) has 6 luxury air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, private entrances, patios, tea and coffee trays, safe, overhead fans, heaters, hairdryers, Satellite Television and Bar fridges. The five garden bedrooms have spectacular views of the Swartberg Mountains. The Honeymoon room has a Spa bath. The self-catering two bed roomed one bathroom family flat with lounge and a most unusual private bar displaying Boer war memorabilia, a private patio and Barbeque facility.
